Brisbane City Council has released an Emergency Alert to mobile phones and landlines advising that Major Flooding is expected on the Brisbane River.
Residents are being advised to evacuate, if required. Stay out of flood waters and check roads and plan your journey, if evacuating.
Queensland Police Service have confirmed that Major Flooding is expected tomorrow morning, with more properties expected to be inundated.
